My current bloggoal now is to write every day. Impossible you say? Close, maybe, but as was discussed last night over whiskey, ice cubes, and longgislands, a blog a day keeps the people happy. So, while I don’t really have anything to rant, rave, or reveal, I will just write something to pass the time. A mindless filler.

Even Mr. Samback is disappointed with me.

I sit quietly by the crackling campfire. It produces a flat light which illuminates the pale face of my canvas tent, and little else. My mind meanders and I think of the life that I left…and the life I am seeking. I shiver. A log in the fire pops, sparks fly, my eyelids turn heavy and I drift to sleep.
